Lineshaft Driven Live Roller Conveyors are a very unique design in powered conveyors. This simple design utilizes rollers which are independently driven by a urethane belt which is wrapped around a Spool connected to a common drive shaft. This drive shaft runs the full length of the conveyor bed section and transfers power to the rollers via the urethane belts and drive spool. Lineshaft conveyors allow products to accumulate with a minimum amount of back or “Line” pressure. When pressure is applied to the conveyed products, the spools driving the rollers under the product will slip on the driveshaft allowing the product to accumulate.
